Gardens Which Welcome Life In
Gardens Which Welcome Life In
A beautiful garden is not simply something to look at, though that is certainly part of the pleasure. At its best, a garden makes a place feel more welcoming. It gives the day somewhere softer to land, invites wildlife in, and offers a quiet connection with the natural world.
At Argent Landscape Garden Designs, we create outdoor spaces for homeowners and health providers, guided by sustainability, biodiversity and a belief that gardens should feel considered, restorative and rooted in nature.
How Can We Help?
About me
My name is Gabrielle Argent, and I am the founder of Argent Landscape Garden Designs.
I have always been interested in gardens, plants and the effect that outdoor spaces can have on people. I would like to create gardens that are not only attractive, but also useful, enjoyable to look after and beneficial to those who spend time in them.
I hold RHS Level 2 with Merit and am a 2026 graduate of the London College of Garden Design. Before starting my garden design practice, I curated sculpture exhibitions at Sussex Prairie Garden and The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022. This gave me a strong interest in the way gardens, art, planting and atmosphere can work together.
I am particularly interested in therapeutic horticulture, sensory planting and gardening for wildlife. I believe gardens can offer people a place to share skills, take part in simple outdoor activities and feel more connected to nature. In the UK, this is increasingly being recognised through ideas such as green prescribing.
Through Argent Landscape Garden Designs, I work with homeowners and local health providers on new and existing gardens. Services include concept designs, planting advice and plans, plant sourcing, project monitoring and aftercare guidance.
